The business now known as ‘Wilson McQueen Ltd’ was established in 1922 by James McQueen - the present owner’s grandfather, in Dromore, Co Down, Northern Ireland. His son, Wilson brought the business to Lurgan, where, together with his son Robert, settled 33 years ago at 4a High Street. On Wilson’s retirement Robert and his wife Janet set about raising standards and adding an international flavour to the selection of products.

Assisted by friendly, enthusiastic staff, they now run this traditional, independent family business, whose continuing success is due to a considerable degree to a high emphasis on providing top quality products, excellent value-for-money and exceptional after-sales service. This is enhanced by an on-site jewellery repair workshop, and highly trained staff - most of whom hold the Professional Jeweller’s Diploma.
